sCO2-4-NPP partners Fives Cryo, University of Duisburg-Essen, and University of Stuttgart will present papers at the upcoming 4th European Conference on Supercritical CO2 for Energy Systems to be held online on March 23 and 24, 2021:
- Operational analysis of a self-propelling heat removal system using supercritical CO2 with ATHLET (USTUTT)
- Simulation and Analysis of a Self-propelling Heat Removal System Using Supercritical CO2 at Different Ambient Temperatures (USTUTT, UDE, KSG/GfS)
- Mean-line Analysis for Supercritical CO2 Centrifugal Compressors by Using Enthalpy Loss Coefficients (UDE)
- Conceptual design, optimisation and qualification of highly efficient brazed plates and fins heat exchangers for heat removal sCO2 Brayton Cycle to increase the safety of nuclear power plants (FIVES, USTUTT, KSG/GfS)
The University of Duisburg-Essen has presented the paper Impact of volumetric system design on compressor inlet conditions in supercritical CO2 cycles at the GPPS Chania20 online conference held on 7-9 September 2020.
Fives Cryo has the paper Industrial Technical Development and Qualification of Highly Efficient Stainless Steel Plates and Fins Heat Exchanger for Heat Removal Supercritical CO2 Brayton Cycle Applied to Nuclear Power Plants in the proceedings of the Fluids Engineering Division Summer Meeting (ASME FEDSM 2020) which was held online on 12-16 July 2020.
